View and use results
Read and download reports, follow dashboards, understand the task board, exchange shared files, and ask follow-up questions about results.
Results are the point of assigning work. You do not need to reread the whole conversation to collect it:
| Result | Where | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Reports | Results tab | Reading and reviewing a complete analysis or recommendation. |
| Dashboards | Results tab | Tracking numbers that keep changing. |
| Task board | Tasks tab | Seeing which work is underway and which is blocked. |
| Shared files | Files tab | Exchanging materials you provide and files Embodiments produce. |
Recent results also appear at the top of the Office and on the Workbench page.
Read and download reports
- Select Results in the Office, then a report. Or select Read on its conversation card.
- The reader shows the author, version (such as v2), and update time.
- To save or forward it, select Download for an HTML file.
When an Embodiment revises a report, an open reader switches to the new version. If the report is deleted, the page says so clearly. The list shows recently updated reports first.
Follow dashboards
Embodiments design dashboards that update from their data sources. They suit daily changes, such as the number of late deliveries. To add one, ask an Embodiment in the conversation.
- Select a dashboard in Results.
- Review the numbers, charts, or lists and each panel’s data timestamp.
- To keep the current data, select Download for a JSON file.
If a data source fails, the panel shows Data source error and the reason instead of silently retaining its last numbers.
Find and label results
Search Results by title, author or label, then narrow by result type or change the sort order. All and Unlabeled change which results are shown. The rounded labels below them are the Office's own categories; select a label to filter, and select it again to clear that filter.
Managers, Admins and Owners can organize results in Offices they can see:
- Select Edit labels on a result's row.
- Enter a label and press Enter, or choose an existing label. Select the close icon on a label to remove it.
- Select Save.
Labels also appear in the reader and in Research. They survive a refresh and a new version of the result. Editing labels does not change its author, publication time or version. Returning from the reader preserves your search and filters.
Find tasks that need your help
The Tasks tab is the work list Embodiments maintain, grouped into In progress, Blocked, To do, and Done.
- Select Tasks in the Office.
- Select Blocked to see only stalled work; select All to restore the full list.
- Select a task with a description to expand it. Each row shows its number, responsible Embodiment, and update time.
- To adjust a task or help, return to Conversation with its number and your request, such as “Task #12: the quotes are uploaded; continue comparing delivery times.”
The board is read-only for people. Embodiments maintain it through tools. Make your request in the conversation, then check whether they update the task. Workbench also lists Offices with blocked tasks.
Exchange shared files
Everyone and every Embodiment in this Office can access files in the Files tab.
- Select Files in the Office.
- Select Upload to add files. You can select several at once; each shows its progress and outcome.
- Select a filename to preview it in a new browser tab. Images and PDFs use the browser viewer; text, CSV, JSON, code, HTML and SVG are readable source. Other formats download.
- Open the row's More actions menu for Download, Rename file, Move files, or Delete. Deletion asks for confirmation.
The list updates automatically when Embodiments add, organize or delete files. Upload progress stays when you switch tabs.
Organize files into folders
Managers, Admins and Owners can organize the Office's shared files without changing the links used by conversations or charts.
- Select Files, then New folder, enter its name and Save. Open a folder before creating one inside it.
- Open a folder and select Upload to place new files there.
- To move existing files, select their checkboxes, choose Move files, pick a destination and select Move here.
- Select Up one folder beside the path to go back one level, or select a parent in the path. Reloading or using the browser's Back button preserves your location.
Search looks inside the current folder. A file's More actions menu offers Rename file. A folder's menu offers Rename folder and Move folder; moving it carries its files and child folders together. Delete folder removes empty folders only. Move their files and remove child folders first; deleting a folder never deletes the files inside it.
Embodiments can manage the same folders and files through their tools. In the conversation, ask a named member to create folders, rename files, move selected material or remove empty folders. It can organize only this Office's files. For example: “Group the source data by month, then move last month's material into Archive. Keep the existing references.”
Ask about a result
When reading a report or dashboard, take its name back to the conversation with your question.
- Select Ask about it in the room in the reader.
- The conversation field starts with “About ‘result name’:”. Add your question and use
@to address an Embodiment if needed. - Select Send.
This prepares a draft only. It does not send automatically.
